OCCUPY THE FIELD: Occupy PDX VS Park Rangers

A softball game….

… An epic battle of wit, and physical aptitude will ensue at Overlook Park on Sunday June 10th 3:00-9:00pm between Occupy Portland and Portland City Park Rangers! The Rangers have challenged Occupy Portland to a rigorous game of softball, and with delight, Occupy Portland has accepted.

Additionally, Occupy Portland has invited all unions that represent Portland city workers, as well as the general public to join in the celebration of unity and mutual respect.

In the spirit of good form and safety, this event will be free of politics and alcohol. There will be a barbecue as well as soft drinks, however vegans and vegetarians may want to bring food substitutes. Family friendly music will be provided in the evening. All are welcome to bring side dishes as well as games for the kids. Blankets and lawn chairs are recommended.
