Longview Solidarity Celebration Postponed

Greetings Fellow Occupiers!

We wanted to let everyone know that, due to practical considerations, the long awaited and much deserved Solidarity Celebration with port workers in Longview must wait a little longer. Scheduling conflicts between the various planning groups mean that the celebration scheduled for March 18th is indefinitely postponed.

Remember, it was the brave and inspiring union action in Longview last summer that set the stage for a successful cooperative effort between ILWU 21 and Occupy and forced a gigantic, powerful and ruthless corporation to the bargaining table last month. All of you, the rank and file of the 99%, helped make it happen! We have much to be proud of and a reason to celebrate. As soon as the details come together, you will be the first to know.
