Meetings with lawyer Stu Sugarman–very important for arrestees who do not
have an attorney!

Fridays, 6pm: Stu Sugarman will meet regularly with arrestees who need help with filing motions. Location: Stu’s office at 838 SW 1st Ave., Ste 500.  See http://elkpdx.org/?p=133 for more information.

Especially for those who plan to plead not guilty and don’t have an attorney, there are motions (legal documents) available for download on the ELK website which you might want to consider using for your case. Stu Sugarman has offered to be available on a weekly basis to meet with OP arrestees who need help with filing these motions.  For details and to download the documents, see: http://elkpdx.org/?p=133

Sundays, 6pm: Arrestee Committee meetings. There will be a regular meeting for arrestees and friends prior to the GA, at whatever location the GA is. This will be a chance to come together for mutual support, information sharing, strategy and action planning, etc.

Thanks to Stu for offering his time to help!

The Q&A session on civil litigation that was postponed hasn’t been rescheduled yet–watch for that announcement.
