Celebrate you importance!
Occupy Portland, try to figure solution for garbage left in park or if truck can maybe haul materials. Much love and support. Can feel the good positive energy and vibes, so strong.
If you want peace, give peace and you shall receive peace.
I thought that you had to be ELECTED for a city council position. Are the positions not already filled?
Well said Cathy. These people don’t get it. Even if one of these morons was elected, they have no idea how difficult it is to create jobs in a community where commerce conditions are so unfavorable.
This. A thousand times THIS.
Take down the tent city, clear the parks and roadways, get rid of the signs, and get into the process. This movement has started a dialogue, so the occupation now needs to switch to leadership and there is no better way to lead than to get out and get involved in the process. I encourage as many people as possible to learn how all this governance works and participate in it at every possible level. Don’t stop now, you’ve traveled so far to change.. wait. I might be off on that.
Keep going. Of the PEOPLE. By the PEOPLE. FOR THE PEOPLE.

Lose the face jewelry and I might consider it, but as an FYI, postitions on the City Council are elected postitions. Why am I not surprised you don’t have a clue on how government works?
