The next meeting to help form the Finance Committee is at 6:00 pm on Tuesday November 1st at Terry Schrunk Plaza.

Please show up and have your voice heard in an intelligent and thoughtful manner.

This announcement has not been directly approved by the GA, but the forming of both of these committees has been approved by the GA. So there.

just hopin y’all are seriously considering the indisputably compromising effect that ‘finance’ has; on all histories that have led to ‘now’, on all the movements to challenge injustice, it has been consistently ruinous. the inevitable appearance of money in ‘occupy’ doesn’t have to concede ‘finance’s’ place in this movement or it’s neccesity. good luck. THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE FUNDED- AND A REVOLUTION IS NOT ENOUGH

Who is buying the most political influence? Exxon? BofA? JP Morgan? Think again . . . check out the following link to see what groups are really exerting the most influence on politics: http://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/list_stfed.php?order=A

Interesting list, way too many unions on this list and they aren’t at the bottom. Occupiers, how about redoing that list you have posted (on the rather colorful poster with the pie charts, the #1 and #2 lists of corps. including WalMart, Microsoft, FedEx, etc…) in front of the info booth. I think highlighting the union contributions is important. They are marching with you and sending in porta-potties…beware…is this an integrity issue with Occupy? Would you take donations from Walmart?
