To all of our supporters, we would like to extend an enormous thank you. We wouldn’t be able to Occupy without your help. Holding this space, in solidarity with Occupy movements around the globe means that we, together, are loudly demanding change.

Kick rocks you hippies!!
You want to make a demonstration, look at the SUCCESSFUL demonstrations that did not violate anyone’s rights, and was supportive of the 1st amendment, like the march led by Martin Luther King. You want to do something productive, march your hippie asses to Washington (D.C. – we don’t want you in Vancouver either) and make your statement there.
You are quickly losing support because you are infringing on the rights of others.
The 1st Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people PEACEABLY to assemble, and to petition the GOVERNMENT for a redress of grievances.
I fail to see how trashing our city parks, city streets, and neighborhoods – vandalizing private and public property is being peaceful! And the city of Portland is not who your grievance is against – so go grieve against the Federal Government, and leave the rest of us to go back to enjoying our parks and city.
