A clarifying statement from the front desk at the Information booth of Occupy Portland:

We are not (and never have been) associated with Occupy Portland, Inc. This entity was established outside of the General Assembly without our knowledge. Furthermore, we have resolved to create no legal entities to represent us without the expressed direction of our General Assembly.

    I totally support the movement. Everyone should consider withdrawing for the winter… communicate digitally and return in the spring refreshed and ready to impact the elections next year. to continue all winter will result in confrontation, sickness, whereas withdrawal and organization coupled with a big kick off nationally or even internationally next year could emotionally allow for growth into the elections. Think about the wisdom of this indea.
