7PM Tuesday October 4th – Third General Assembly Meeting

North Waterfront Park and Ankeny Plaza,  at The Pavilion where Saturday Market touches the river.

It is just south of the Burnside Bridge in Portland, OR. If you are coming from the  MAX, get off at Skidmore fountain and walk east to the Waterfront. We will be near the fountain. See you all there!

We are having a food drive we are asking that everyone who CAN who will be at the GA bring a jar of Vegetarian tomato sauce and a pack of Spaghetti and if they would like any other non perishable food item but the focus is on the spaghetti and sauce for the Eggplant Bonanza..

    Can someone please record as much of this as possible? I can not be there because of class but I have been working on Livestream and plan on camping out and helping w/ media. I would really like to know what conclussions are came to regarding overnight issues as well as media issues but I have not been able to find anything anywhere about the last 2 GA’s

    20 friends joined me at the Highwayman for a dinner party, travelling from Poole and Harlow, Ipswich and Felixstowe and to a man/woman everyone agreed what a marvellous evening was had by all. Wonderful food, excellent service, and a warm welcome

    Yes please. Not sure that I can make it Tuesday but there is a quickly growing movement of people intending to go – more clear cut SIMPLE details are needed on the home page. It’s great so far but bullet point it so the casual person can EASILY see WHAT/WHERE/HOW/WHEN etc.

    PS. There are legal questions re: what we are legally allowed to do and go and what legal defense ‘team’ will be in place. I’m looking for that info to share with others asking this. THIS TOO needs to be ‘out front’ so that people who’ve never been in such an environment will know. Thanks and please shout if you need more help!

        It was live, but this was the test for the livestream. We will have the info from the Know Your Rights meeting posted soon.

    I wondered why you are not getting a permit to march on the streets. I have attended many peace rallys that had thousands of people and it just seems much safer to have room for people to move and march without being forced off the sidewalks because of the crowds. I do believe that you will see thousands at the rally on thursday. Often I attended with my friend in a wheel chair and it would have been very difficult for her to get around if we had not been marching on the streets.

    I have realized some essential things through your blog post post. One other subject I would like to express is that there are plenty of games out there designed in particular for preschool age kids. They incorporate pattern acceptance, colors, family pets, and designs. These often focus on familiarization instead of memorization.
