Occupy Madison Build

We are approaching the FINAL THREE DAYS of Occupy Madison Build’s ambitious $50,000 crowdfunding campaign to build 10 tiny homes for Wisconsin’s houseless! Donate today to support Occupy’s involvement in the “Tiny House Movement!”

Occupy Madison Build was born out of the pressing need for safe, affordable and permanent housing to an expanding houseless population, made clear in 2011′s Occupy encampments around the world. But instead of relying on the government, OMB took their own lead and tackled the problem themselves — by designing, building, and securing tiny, 99-sq. ft. houses. With complete amenities of water, plumbing, and solar electricity, OMB is providing the poorest among them shelter, dignity, privacy, and opportunity while defying societal assumptions on poverty, property, urbanity, and consumption for the greater good.

And they only have 3 days left until their crowdfunding campaign ends! Please, donate now until MON., Mar. 24th!
