“You are needed for a #WaveofAction.” ~Occupy Wall St.

TOMORROW, April 4th, #WaveofAction will commence the Spring activist season by launching celebrations at hundreds of former Occupy camp locations worldwide, honoring Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy of nonviolent action and spending the day connecting with allies. This free-for-all, crowdsourced campaign lasting 100 days will become what you, the people, make of it – self-organizing and organically evolving, a new culture will emerge. And Portland will be going with some action for the first day!

WHERE: Chapman Square, downtown

The Humanity Hub, led by proud Occupy Portland veteran and street pastor Jose Serrica, will be reclaiming public space with rallies, feedings, teach-ins and celebration. More than a one-day happenstance, Humanity Hub hopes to aspire continual creative reuse of our parks and facilitate the revival of glory, excitement, potential and we all received back in Oct 6th.
