Of course, if Reporters Without Borders recognized citizen journalists, this ranking would be much, much lower.

If I could attend this hearing today, I would present this information. I am hoping that someone will do it in my stead and ask the following questions: “Does Portland Police intend to reduce our press freedoms even further than Romania?”, “What right does Portland Police believe it has to silence political speech?” and, of course, “How does Portland Police decide which political movements to silence?” (because when Westboro Baptisit Church comes to town with their message of hate, they don’t get beat down in the street by the Portland PD).
