I know you won't publish this because you only believe in free speech when it benefits you.......You self serving idiots. We were'nt there to "protect" you, we were there to hopefully see you get your asses booted from our park. Unfortunately that didn't happen, but alas, we got it this morning! You are all complete failures and disgusting losers. Thanks for the entertainment!

The storm troopers are a really offensive site. They are just looking for an excuse to hurt people. None of that will help us address the abuses of Wall Street. Please keep your attention focused on the reason for the Occupy movement. Please just walk away peacefully and regroup somewhere else entirely.

FINAL SCORE:

Cops & Sanity: 1 Occupy Homeless Encampment: 0

Hope all you dirtbags go back to "occupying" your mom's basements and the underside of our lovely bridges. Take your meds. Get a fucking job. Direct your efforts to more constructive and peaceful forms of change. Frankly, the cops showed remarkable restraint. I was hoping for more broken skulls for you shiftless morons. Stop wasting our tax dollars and find better things to do with your stupid lives.

I am a 65-year-old retired teacher recently moved to Portland from Ashland, OR. The majority of people I know are frustrated with the direction our government and corporations are headed. In fact the lines between people we have elected to be our voice and big money lobbyists and corporations has been erased. It seems to most of us that our political system is so corrupted by the money mongers that we no longer have any kind of real voice in turning the situation around. The Occupy Wallstreet movement has been embraced by so many people from so many different points of view because we want our voice back. The bipartisan standoff which has stopped our federal government from doing anything has to stop. I think individually we can add to this collective agreement by looking at what part each of us plays in supporting those corporate systems in where we put our money and how we spend it. In addition pressure needs to be put on politicians elected from our various states to do what they were elected to do -- make ethical and fairs decisions. I support Occupy Portland and appreciate how city government and police are being creative in keeping this peaceful.
