Occupy Portland “Accreditation ID” Card -UPDATE

September 12, 2013

On Thursday, Sept. 5th, during our first fall 2013 General Assembly, an open-ended discussion was held about the possibility of Occupy Portland adopting “Accreditation ID” Cards for all Occupy-affiliated organizers and activists. No War on Syria!

September 7, 2013

“Americans’ support for the United States’ taking military action against the Syrian government for its suspected use of chemical weapons is on track to be among the lowest for any intervention Gallup has asked about in the last 20 years. Thirty-six percent of Americans favor the U.S. taking military action in order to reduce Syria’s ability to use chemical weapons. The majority — 51% — oppose such action, while 13% are unsure.”

Stephen Glenn – “V for Vendetta NOT Peace”

Last Tuesday, July 23, Portland City Hall issued an eviction order for our City Hall Prayer Vigil against the “Camping” Ban, then on its 600th day from Dec. 1, 2011. It is yet another attempt by the City to take a uncompromising “out of sight, out of mind” approach to systemic issues and cross...
