This is a choose your own adventure:

HOW TO SHARE YOUR EVENT WITH OCCUPY PORTLAND

If you’ve just thought of an event, are looking for collaborators, and want it to be a General Assembly approved event, read this: How To Bring Your Proposal To G.A.

You have a planned out event you want to get approved by G.A.:
You can get G.A. approval by coming to G.A. ½ an hour early and submitting your proposal to the facilitation team. Without prior input from other Occupy Portlanders, your proposal may or may not be endorsed. It’s always best to get feedback early in the conception process. Creating a working group or consulting with the Actions Committee (actioncommitteepdxATgmail.com) may be a good way to broaden the scope of your event and number of supporters.

Once your event is approved by G.A., you can then:
-Put together a flier for the event (in PDF format). Images are a plus. If you’re not graphically-inclined, you can reach out to the Occupy Portland Design Collective, our collective of graphic designers, to get a helping hand in design. OPDXdesigncollectiveATgmail.com
-Put together a detailed event notification.
