Summer is here! And what better way is there to enjoy the sun (or rain) then joining Occupy Portland for some outreach events at upcoming community events? Tomorrow, Sunday, June 24, come out to Sunday Parkways at Kenton Park from 11am to 4pm, and help us hand out some flyers and talk with our neighbors (the forecast is sun, by the way). Later in the week, on Thursday, June 29th from 4pm-11pm we’ll be at Last Thursday on Alberta (meet in front of the Cruz Room). Outreach is important to find more individuals who would like to become involved, to keep community members informed of the movement, and to build support for future mass actions that will be happening later this summer and/or this fall.
